Terms of Service

MyBody Movement  ·  Last updated: 22 February 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of MyBody Movement’s services, website, and programs. By booking a session, submitting an enquiry form, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

Parties to This Agreement

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“the Client”) and MyBody Movement (“we”, “us”, “our”), a mobile physiotherapy and personal training business operating in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

By booking any service, completing an intake form, accessing our website, or engaging with our programs in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms in full. If you are booking on behalf of another person, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that person to these terms and that they have consented to receive our services.

If you do not agree to any part of these terms, please do not book or use our services. You are welcome to contact us to discuss any concerns before proceeding.

Our Services

MyBody Movement provides the following services:

  • Mobile physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation delivered at your home, workplace, or other agreed location
  • Physio-guided personal training and rehabilitation exercise classes
  • 6-week structured pain-relief and rehabilitation programs
  • Ongoing maintenance and subscription-based training programs for existing clients
  • Workspace assessment and ergonomic advice as part of clinical treatment

All physiotherapy services are provided by a registered physiotherapist holding current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and full professional indemnity insurance. Personal training and rehabilitation classes may be delivered by qualified rehab trainers under the supervision and program design of the treating physiotherapist.

Our services do not constitute emergency medical care. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 000 immediately.

Service Delivery

All services are delivered at a location agreed upon between you and MyBody Movement at the time of booking. We require a safe, clear, and adequate space to deliver services. We reserve the right to decline or terminate a session if the environment is assessed as unsafe for the client or practitioner.

Session durations and inclusions are as described on our website at the time of booking. We reserve the right to modify service inclusions and descriptions at any time, with changes taking effect for new bookings from the date of publication.

Bookings and Appointments

Appointments can be made via our website booking form, by phone, email, or WhatsApp. A booking is confirmed when you receive a written or electronic confirmation from MyBody Movement.

Appointment Confirmation

  • You are responsible for providing accurate contact details at the time of booking
  • Appointment reminders may be sent via SMS or email as a courtesy and do not replace your responsibility to attend
  • If you do not receive a confirmation within 24 hours of booking, please contact us to verify

Intake Forms

Prior to your first appointment, you will be required to complete a health intake form. This information is necessary for us to provide safe and appropriate care. Failure to disclose relevant medical history or current health conditions may affect the quality of your treatment and releases MyBody Movement from liability for any adverse outcome arising from that non-disclosure.

Consent to Treatment

By attending your first appointment, you provide informed consent to the physiotherapy or training services proposed during your initial assessment. Your physiotherapist will explain any proposed treatment before it is carried out, and you retain the right to withdraw consent at any time during a session.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand that circumstances change. We ask that you give us as much notice as possible when cancelling or rescheduling, as this allows us to offer the time to another client.

24 Hours or More

Full rescheduling or refund available. No fee applies.

Less Than 24 Hours

A late cancellation fee of 50% of the session cost may apply.

No-Show

The full session fee applies for missed appointments without notice.

Cancellation by MyBody Movement

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to practitioner illness, emergency, or circumstances outside our control. In such cases, we will provide as much notice as possible and offer a rescheduled appointment or a full refund for any prepaid sessions.

Packages and Programs

Sessions within multi-session packages such as the 6-week program must be used within a reasonable timeframe as agreed at the time of booking. Unused sessions within a package are not individually refundable after the program commencement date, except where cancellation is required due to a medical condition preventing treatment, supported by a medical certificate.

Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of service unless a prior written arrangement has been made. We accept payment via the methods listed on our website at the time of booking.

Pricing

  • All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST where applicable
  • Pricing is subject to change. Current pricing will always be displayed on our website prior to booking
  • Package pricing is locked at the rate confirmed at the time of purchase

Insurance and Third-Party Claims

We can provide invoices and clinical notes suitable for submission to private health insurers. Medicare rebates and WorkCover billing arrangements must be confirmed prior to the appointment. You remain personally responsible for any fees not covered by your insurer or fund. Any gap payments are due at the time of service.

Overdue Payments

Where a payment is not received within 14 days of the invoice date, we reserve the right to suspend further bookings until the outstanding balance is settled. We may refer overdue accounts to a collections process and you may be liable for any reasonable costs of recovery.

Subscription Memberships

Subscription memberships are billed on a recurring basis as agreed at the time of sign-up. You may cancel your subscription by providing 14 days written notice. No refund is issued for any portion of a billing period already paid. Membership pricing may be reviewed with 30 days written notice provided to members.
