Meet Me, Jeremy Sun

My name is Jeremy, and I’m the founder of MyBody Movement. My passion for movement started young through calisthenics, resistance training, boxing, and various sports, and it’s kept me hooked for over 12 years. But like many of you, I’ve dealt with my fair share of injuries along the way.

Those setbacks sparked something deeper: a need to understand not just how injuries happen, but how we can come back stronger and prevent them from happening again.

My Professional Journey

That journey led me to work as the lead physiotherapist for the UNSW Football team and across various clinics in Victoria and NSW. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Deakin University and a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney.

This dual background gives me a unique perspective. I don’t just understand pain and injury. I understand how the body performs, adapts, and recovers.

My Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science — Deakin University
  • Master’s degree in Physiotherapy — University of Sydney
  • Lead Physiotherapist for UNSW Football team
  • Clinical experience across Victoria and NSW
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese

MyBody Movement isn’t just a service. It’s a story of how injury can make you stronger than ever. It exists for busy professionals who need real solutions, not quick fixes. Whether you’re dealing with an injury or trying to stay ahead of one, I bring evidence-based care directly to you, on your schedule, in your environment.

MyBody Philosophy

We believe your body works as an integrated system, not a collection of separate parts.

Throughout our work in physiotherapy and exercise science, we’ve seen patients bounce between practitioners, getting temporary relief but never fully recovering. The problem? Treating symptoms in isolation without addressing the underlying cause.

The Problem with Isolated Treatment

When you injure your knee, for example, your body doesn’t just compensate at the knee. Your hip drops, your ankle stiffens, and before long, your opposite leg is overworking to pick up the slack. Left unaddressed, these compensations become your new movement pattern, setting you up for more injuries down the track.

That’s why everything we do at MyBody Movement is built on one principle: real rehabilitation isn’t about getting back to where you were. It’s about building a body that moves better and breaks down less.

Identify Root Causes

We identify and correct the movement patterns and muscle imbalances that contributed to your injury in the first place.

Rebuild Stronger

We strengthen the weak links, restore mobility where you’ve lost it, and retrain your nervous system to move efficiently again.

Long-Term Results

You don’t just recover. You come back stronger and more resilient than before.

My Services

MyBody Physio

This philosophy shapes how we approach every injury.

MyBody Physio brings evidence-based physiotherapy directly to you, whether that’s at home, at work, or at the gym. We treat a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries including back and neck pain, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain conditions, and everything in between.

What Sets Our Approach Apart

What sets our approach apart is the context. When I assess you in your actual environment, I see how you really move, not just how you move in a clinic. I can watch you get in and out of your car, climb your stairs, or perform the exact movement that triggered your pain. This real-world assessment means more accurate diagnosis and treatment that actually fits into your life.

Every session combines hands-on treatment with movement assessment and tailored exercises. We address the pain, yes, but more importantly, we address the movement dysfunction that caused it. We look at the whole kinetic chain, not just the site of injury, because that’s how we deliver results that actually last.

Conditions We Treat:

  • Back and neck pain
  • Sports injuries
  • Post-surgical rehabilitation
  • Chronic pain conditions
  • Musculoskeletal injuries

MyBody Training

And it’s why we don’t stop at rehabilitation.

MyBody Training is physio-guided personal training designed to build a body that performs better and breaks down less. Whether you’re returning from injury, trying to stay ahead of one, or simply want to move and feel better in daily life, this is where prevention meets performance.

Movement Over Muscles

Traditional personal training focuses on muscles. We focus on movement. Every exercise is chosen not just to make you stronger, but to improve how your body functions as a system. We work on mobility where you’re stiff, stability where you’re weak, and coordination where your movement patterns have gone off track.

The sessions are completely mobile, so we train you in the environment that matters most. We progress you safely and intelligently, taking into account your injury history and individual biomechanics, not just following cookie-cutter programs.

The Result?

You build strength that actually transfers to real life. You move with more confidence, less pain, and greater resilience against future injuries. Because the strongest body is one that moves well first.
